Reviews for Stephens Gardens

Brenda L
I have a huge complaint about Stephens Gardens in Crescent IA. I called about ordering 5 bushel of tomatoes to can when they are ready. The lady that answered the phone was the rudest person I have EVER in life talked too!! She refused to take any of my info to call when they were ready all she told me was that I had to go to the farmers market and she didn't have that many ready. Then she told me in the rudest voice that I would have to call another time she didn't have time to talk right now. As a farmer with my own garden I do understand that the tomatoes are not ready that is why I wanted to put an order in as my Mother has done in previous years.
I wanted the website to know they are not a company that anyone should deal with if they are treating people that way when they are calling to pay them for goods they are advertising to sell!!!
If I could rate this company they would be a HUGE "0" out of a million!

Thank you for you time!

Would like to post something on Stephens Gardens in Honey Creek Iowa.I live in the Omaha/Council Bluffs area and the customer service from Stephens Gardens has been AMAZING. I have called and pre-ordered bushels of tomatoes multiple times this season for next day pick up and they were there and ready and the quality was great. The staff and owners were friendly and helpful and carried my purchases to my vehicle and loaded them for me. I was offered lower prices for higher quantities which is appreciated since i am canning most of what i buy. I was also very happy that when I asked to purchase a large quantity of cucumbers and jalepeno peppers on a whim they had them right there on the truck! The sweet corn until Halloween is an amazing feature of the Stephens Gardens tents and they all are very well versed on the varieties of produce that they carry and when it was harvested.I would recommend them to anyone looking for quality, good pricing, and great service.( and i do regularly )
