La Vista CSA

http://www.lavistacsa.org

La Vista CSA (formerly known as the Community Supported Garden (CSG) at La Vista) is beginning its 16th season as a 120 member CSA. We feature sustainably grown vegetables, herbs and flowers during our 25 week season from mid-May through mid-November. Folks become shareholders through the purchase of a weekly or every-other-week share.

Our farm is located on scenic bluffs overlooking the Mississippi River. The farm is part of the Oblate Ecological Initiative and is connected with the "La Vista Ecological Learning Center." Both La Vista farm and the Learning Center offer opportunities for farm tours, seasonal celebrations, shareholder potlucks, and cooking classes.

In addition to the regular 27 week season, we offer a 5 week "Spring Greens" share from late March through early May for $35. This consists of 1 pound of greens that we grow in-ground in our greenhouse as well as out in the field.

We also offer a Spring Greens share for non-members for $50. Join La Vista after April 24 and get a $15 rebate toward the cost of your regular share!

We offer a 7 a.m. Saturday delivery to Garden Heights Nursery, 1605 S. Big Bend Blvd. There is a one-time $25 fee.
