Our open‑concept farm store doubles as a working apothecary, where you can see remedies crafted in real time. Customers love knowing their mushrooms are grown locally—especially since most lion’s mane, cordyceps, and turkey tail sold online come from overseas.
Sustainability guides everything: organic indoor growing with no chemicals, biodegradable bags, minimal water use, and zero waste—every stem, block, and surplus mushroom is transformed or reused. We grow seasonally, embracing “slow mushrooms” that can take months to mature.
Our apothecary now produces nearly 100 remedies rooted in Dr. Browne’s decades of Chinese medicine training. Long before “green” was trendy, she ran a major organic herb farm and agritourism destination. After retiring from patient care, she finally opened Swan Creek Farm to the public in 2024—her joyful, hands‑on culmination of 40+ years of organic farming and herbal medicine.
