Farming Practices: We raise all of the hay and nearly all of the grain we feed our goats. Rotational grazing is being applied more fully with great results as we continue to fence more of our land and add paddocks from leased land from our neighbors adjoining property. We manage all of our production by approved certified organic practices. We do soil and feed testing and corect defficiencies with natural mineral amendments and supplements, and we regularly apply compost and effective microbes to the soils. We monitor the health of all animals through observation DHIA testing and other testing as needed. We use natural herbal remedies and homeopathic remedies as needed. We belive that animal health and production as well and plant health and yields are dependent on balanced soil minerals, adequate and high levels of organic matter and high levels of soil microbial activity
