A small family farm nestled in the Western MA. Hilltown of Plainfield. We are a diversified farm growing 3 acres of produce, producing Goat Cheese under the Goat Rising label, and Sheep Cheese under the Tava Cheese label. Our livestock spend the warmer months grazing on sustainably managed pasture. Our Oxen Moses & Abe work our fields & cut our hay. We produce our own compost & apply biodynamic preparations to our soil. While not certified we do follow organic growing standards.We offer a 20 week CSA

Farming Practices: We do not use any chemicals to grow our veggies or herbs. Biodynamic preparations are used. We produce all our own compost. Our livestock have names which they all answer to, they are moved to new pasture every few days
